Celebrate Halloween on the Hill with us on Friday, October 29, 2021.

To celebrate, students will be able to wear their Halloween Costumes to school (Students should not wear headgear, weapons, or costume masks. They must follow dress code, and still be able to wear proper face coverings).

Pumpkin Book Character Contest

Decorate a pumpkin to look like one of your favorite book characters, and bring it to school to be part of our “Book Character Pumpkin Patch” and a chance to win a prize!

•Think of your favorite book and design your pumpkin based on your favorite character from that book.

•Use a pumpkin that is NO larger in size than a basketball (it can be fake).

•Gather your decorating supplies. Acrylic paints or permanent markers work best. Watercolors tend to run, and spray paint will gradually dissolve the pumpkin. You can add materials, like yarn, buttons, wiggly eyes, etc.

•Decorate your pumpkin without carving, cutting, or poking holes in it.

•Fill in the blanks on the back of the entry form.

•Bring your pumpkin and your entry form to school on Friday, October 29th. (If your child needs help getting it to school and back home, please make plans for that.)

Participation is completely voluntary.

All students will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite Pumpkin Character for 25 cents per vote (all proceeds to go PTO).

We will have 1st, 2nd, 3rd place winners in grades (K-2) and (3-5).
